How to apply waterproof microcement Easycret PU on floors

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Firstly, and for the application to be successful, it is necessary to clean the surface of grease or dirt, as well as repair it if it has cracks or other irregularities.

Step 2: Floor Priming

To achieve a perfect bond between the waterproof microcement EASYCRET PU and the existing material, apply a primer such as PRIMACRETE PLUS, PRIMACRETE ABS, or IMPOXY (if there is moisture). If the floor has joints, fill them beforehand with PRIMACRETE JOINT.

Step 3: Mixing Component A and Component B of EASYCRET PU Microcement

Homogenize Component A and add Component B in the proportion specified in the technical data sheet: 10 parts of A to 0.875 parts of B.

Step 4: Apply Two Coats of Waterproof Microcement EASYCRET PU BASIC

Spread and smooth EASYCRET PU BASIC in thin layers. Allow 12 to 24 hours of drying time between coats.

Step 5: Apply One Coat of Waterproof Microcement EASYCRET PU MEDIUM

Complete the floor decoration using EASYCRET PU MEDIUM. Apply it in a thin layer and let it dry for 24 hours before protecting the new coating.

Step 6: Sealing the Waterproof Microcement

Seal the surface with any of the varnishes in the CONCRETE FINISH range.
We recommend CONCRETE FINISH WT MAX (allow 14–24 hours of drying time between coats).

How to apply waterproof microcement Easycret PU on walls

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be coated is in good condition: level and consolidated. Clean off dust and grease, and, if necessary, repair cracks or flaking. Remove any deteriorated paint if present.

Step 2: Wall Priming

To ensure optimal adhesion between the waterproof microcement EASYCRET PU and the existing material, apply a primer such as PRIMACRETE PLUS, PRIMACRETE ABS, or IMPOXY (in case of moisture). If the surface has joints, fill them beforehand with PRIMACRETE JOINT.

Step 3: Mix Component A and Component B of Waterproof Microcement EASYCRET PU

Homogenize Component A and then add Component B according to the proportions in the technical data sheet: 10 parts of A to 0.875 parts of B.

Step 4: Apply Two Coats of Waterproof Microcement EASYCRET PU BASIC

Pour and smooth EASYCRET PU BASIC in thin layers.
Allow 12–24 hours of drying time between coats.

Step 5: Apply Two Coats of Waterproof Microcement EASYCRET PU THIN

The final touch is provided by EASYCRET PU THIN. Apply this waterproof microcement in thin layers to achieve an optimal finish.

Step 6: Protection of the Waterproof Microcement

Wait 24 hours before sealing the new microcement coating with CONCRETE FINISH varnishes. We recommend CONCRETE FINISH WT MAX (14–24 hours of drying time between coats).
